MIA is a digital assistant who helps people with memory problems live their day to day lives. This project is inspired by my own grandma’s struggles, and I designed this to help her stay independent for longer. The interface is simple and user friendly, even for those not comfortable with technology. MIA has a call feature allowing family members to stay in contact, and an app that can be accessed by all family members to write reminders and alarms for their loved one. It can be mounted to any flat surface, and can connect to mobile devices to make it easy to set reminds away from home. MIA can be used on a single screen, or displayed on multiple screens to have reminders in every room.
